Step-by-Step Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and celery, and sauté until they are tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted bread and cornbread.
- Add the sautéed onions and celery to the bread mixture, including the cooking liquid.
- Season with salt, pepper, sage, and poultry seasoning. Mix thoroughly.
- Using a bulb baster, add just enough turkey giblet broth to the mixture to make it very moist.
- Stir in the beaten eggs, then transfer the mixture to a large greased baking pan or dish.
